Brand lift from 1 million impressions: what LoopMe’s Trade Desk integration changes for advertisers

LoopMe is bringing awareness and purchase-intent studies into The Trade Desk Measurement Marketplace. A lower threshold broadens access, but model transparency remains the central question.

LoopMe has announced a direct integration of its Brand Lift product with The Trade Desk’s Measurement Marketplace. Media buyers can commission a study, monitor it and receive results inside the same interface used to manage the campaign. The headline change is a starting threshold of one million impressions, below the three to four million that LoopMe says many alternatives require.

How the integration works

A study is activated through The Trade Desk and attached to a campaign. LoopMe says initial results may arrive about ten days after launch and refresh every 24 hours. The dashboard can break results down by age, gender, device, creative, ad group and campaign ID.

  • 1 million impressions: the stated launch threshold.
  • From ten days: the earliest expected results when enough responses are collected.
  • Daily refresh: data is expected to update every 24 hours.
  • 35+ markets and 17 languages: LoopMe’s stated coverage.

What brand lift measures

Brand lift does not measure sales directly. It compares answers from people exposed to an ad with a similar control group that was not exposed. Depending on the questions, the study can assess awareness, ad recall, favourability, consideration or purchase intent. The difference between the groups is treated as campaign-related lift.

LoopMe says it collects answers during voluntary breaks in mobile advertising rather than from a pre-recruited panel. Its RISA technology matches control respondents across more than one hundred variables. This may speed recruitment, but results still depend on question design, sample composition and the quality of the match.

Why the lower threshold matters

Large national campaigns reach several million impressions quickly; local work, a single-creative test or a niche audience often does not. A lower entry point could let advertisers test more hypotheses before the campaign ends. Yet an impression threshold is not a guarantee of statistical power. Buyers still need sample sizes, confidence intervals and the minimum detectable effect—details not provided in the announcement.

Measurement moves inside the buying platform

Keeping buying and measurement in one interface reduces transfers of IDs, spreadsheets and reports. Teams may compare creatives and adjust adjust frequency faster. It also increases dependence on the platform and its partners. The announcement does not identify MRC accreditation for this integration, pricing, launch clients or a complete channel list.

Questions to ask

  • How many completed surveys support every breakdown?
  • How does RISA control systematic differences between groups?
  • Are CTV, web and mobile apps covered in the same way?
  • Can aggregated raw data be exported for independent analysis?
  • What happens when response volume is insufficient?

UA Banner has previously explained why a media metric cannot automatically be treated as business impact and how technology becomes part of the brand experience. Brand lift sits between the two: it measures attitude change, not incremental sales.

UA Banner conclusion

The integration can turn brand lift from an expensive post-campaign report into a regular optimisation tool. That is useful, especially for smaller tests. Important budget decisions, however, should follow a review of the sample, uncertainty and methodological independence. One convenient dashboard does not remove the need to understand how the lift was produced.
