JK Super Cement has launched Tera Ghar Mera Ghar, a 53-episode vertical microdrama about a young couple expecting their first child while trying to build a home. Set in Kanpur, the series stars Keshav Sadhna, Yogita Bihani and Sumit Arora. JUJU Films created it with BULLET Microdrama, and distribution includes BULLET, ZEE5 and JK Cement India’s Facebook and YouTube channels.
Why 53 short episodes
A conventional cement commercial has seconds to move from strength claims to a pack shot. A serial format can show the emotional and financial decisions around a house: disagreements, family pressure, budgets and progress. Each episode must create a small unresolved question that encourages the next view, so the real media asset is continuity rather than a single impression.
Product integration without hijacking the plot
The category belongs naturally in a home-building story, but relevance is not a licence for constant exposure. The brand needs clear sponsorship disclosure and restrained integration. If every conflict is solved by a product message, the drama loses credibility; if the brand disappears entirely, attention may not transfer to memory.
What should be measured
The useful metrics are episode-to-episode retention, completion, return rate and the difference between viewers reached on entertainment platforms and on brand-owned channels. Brand lift, search activity and dealer enquiries matter more than a large aggregate view count. Participants had not disclosed retention or sales impact at publication time.
UA Banner previously analysed how content systems create value beyond one campaign flight. This project applies that logic to vertical video: one production becomes dozens of entry points, but only if every chapter earns the next.
UA Banner conclusion
Tera Ghar Mera Ghar is a useful test of whether an industrial category can compete for episodic attention on a phone. Its 53-part scale is not automatically an advantage; success depends on story retention, transparent branding and measurable movement from viewing to consideration.
